I am sure you know that Mexicans are all around-Twitter suffering jokes about a specific kind of flu! :)

    Get well soon, Beth!

    Here is your sympathy...
awwwww, poor Bethy, I hope your widdle froat feels better-wetter.

I hope you have bendy straws. A sick person should always administer liquids with the aid of a bendy straw, it helps.

I certainly sympathize with anyone sick this season. I did very little breathing through my nose in three of the past six weeks. I still don't know what the second illness I had was, but it came on with that wicked sort of fever, then gave me two weeks of the most severe sinus congestion I've ever experienced. It was maddening to feel so rotten, get so little sleep, and lose the ability to concentrate on much of anything for more than a few minutes at a stretch. Steamy showers provided the only effective respite.

In any case, I hope what you have passes soon and leaves you stronger for the ordeal. The warm part of spring is just about the worst time for pathogens to establish a nose-and-throat beachhead in their perpetual war against the human immune system. Here's hoping your system swiftly and totally kicks microbe ass.

I've finally got over one of the worst colds I've ever had, so I can definitely sympathise. And at least the Canucks came through for you!

I hope you feel better soon

    Feel better soon!! (hug)

Maybe you have both a cold and a flu at the same time? That would suck. :(
